97/100 Decanter: Michael Hall Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir 2019

Decanter, published in 90 countries in both print and digital forms, can claim to be the world’s most widely read and informative wine magazine.

Last week a feature was published on the Adelaide Hills by Australian wine writer David Sly. Distilled from his tasting of 187 Adelaide Hills wines, he picks out his 26 top-scoring bottles amongst which are no less than three Michael Hall wines! We have just a few dozen of the featured Pinot Noir available.

First come first served.

Michael Hall Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir, Piccadilly & Lenswood 2019 $50

“From a small crop of intense fruit, with 44% whole-bunch fermentation to elevate the brightness. In the mouth, it opens to sweet berry satisfaction, but also surprising intensity, with stalk and grip shaping the palate. Elegant and harmonious, rich in the mid-tones, the occasional bass notes lingering seductively.” 97/100 David Sly, Decanter

Only 1560 bottles produced. Limited to 6 bottles per person.
