2017 Michael Hall Sauvignon Blanc, Adelaide Hills

Abundant winter rain followed by a cool spring and summer heralded a late vintage. The Hill Block was hand-picked on 10 April, most fermented in French oak barrels (30% new, Damy) while 14% was left on skins and fermented in tank before pressing to barrel. Nine months on yeast lees, fined and filtered.
