2017 Sang de Pigeon Pinot Noir, Adelaide Hills
Abundant winter rains were followed by a cool spring and summer resulting in a late vintage. From Swamp Road in Piccadilly and the Mawson Rd vineyard in Lenswood. Hand picked on 13th and 7th April , wild fermented in open fermenter and closed puncheon, with 20% whole bunch with long maceration.
Matured for 11 months in French oak. Desiccated orange and violets on the nose, tart goji berry, rosehip tea, chalky dry finish.
2530 bottles produced.
