2021 Sang de Pigeon Blanc, Eden & Barossa Valleys
On the eastern fringe of Eden Valley the maverick Stonegarden vineyard was established in the early 1860’s. Post wat, around 1946, a block was planted to a rainbow of aromatic whites, mainly red and white muscat a petits grains, liberally peppered with Riesling, Crouchen and Verdelho.
Stonegarden was picked on the 28th of February, pressed to French oak and wild yeast barrel fermented. Matured for nine months in yeast lees it was then blended with tank fermented Barossa Valley Roussanne.
1380 bottles produced.
