2018 Sang de Pigeon Blanc
The Stonegarden vineyard in Springton was established in the 1860’s by Oscar Benno Seppelt. Post WWII, under the stewardship of the Hamilton family, a small block was co-planted to an eclectic mix of aromatic whites, a genuine field blend! Hand-picked, cold-soaked, fermented, barrel matured for 8 months and blended with 15% skins-fermented Sauvignon Blanc from Lenswood.
Racy, zesty and intensely aromatic. Apple orchard. Elderflower. Orange blossom. Blackcurrant. Powder-dry finish.
1980 bottles produced.
